Why buy new gripper?

We recommend purchasing new gripper every time you replace your carpet. Why do that? We hear you, it's an additional expense and nobody wants those. The reason we say this is purely because your gripper doesn't last forever. It can crush, losing you hooks, which can blunt over time. Gripper strips are made to dig in and hold your carpet, keeping it steady day to day. What you don't want is your beautiful new carpet not correctly secured and when you move either yourselves or furniture around the room. Even worse than that is the carpet ripping or tearing at the edges due to it not being fixed properly. It's not commonplace, however we just don't consider it a risk worth taking.

Easily cut to length to adapt to your space, we always recommend purchasing more strips than you think you need, to ensure that you don't end up with any gaps and can easily fit it around challenging spaces and trim to fit. This is why we sell per box and not per unit, so there's absolutely no messing around.
